Fencing Levels at OCFA In response to popular demand, OCFA has created an accelerated program to learn fencing more quickly. Starting in September ‘08 the beginning and intermediate classes will meet twice a week for 4 weeks. Fencing twice a week tones the mind and muscles faster and allows the student to retain more. More instruction can be covered in less time and the student will be ready to enjoy serious fencing in half the time. See our new class schedule for fall 08
Level 1 -- Introduction Level 1 is an introduction to fencing. It teaches basic footwork, how to grip the weapon, simple attacks, parries, lunge and disengage.
